Papers of Carl Sandburg [manuscript], 1929-1935.

The collection contains three poems by Sandburg including two typed untitled ones and "Grass" in the hand of Albert Barrows signed by Sandburg. Letters between Sandburg and Barrows discuss poetry, current activities, health and travel. A copy of a letter from Howard E. Couper requesting permission to produce his choral adaptations of Sandburg's verse is included.
